Motrix is a word guessing game for Android. The game hides a word. You type a word of the same length, and each letter gets a colour: a red square if it is in the right place, a yellow circle if it is in the word but somewhere else, a grey tile if it is not in the word. You have six tries to find the hidden word.

It is a game in the spirit of Lingo and Motus: the first letter is given, and the letters you have found carry over to the next row. Every day brings a new word of the day, the same for every player of your language. Between two daily words, you play as many games as you like.

  • A word of the day — one grid a day, a streak to keep, a result to share without giving the word away. Word of the day
  • Found letters carry over — tap any square to type there, and play a throwaway word when you need one. Found letters carry over
  • 4 to 8 letters — five lengths, your statistics for each, and 0, 1 or 2 letters given. 4 to 8 letters
  • Fifteen languages — each with its own dictionary, its own word of the day and its own keyboard. Fifteen languages
