Besides the word of the day, Motrix has free play. There is no limit: a new hidden word as soon as you want one.
Choose the length
The home screen has one button per length, from 4 to 8 letters. A 4-letter word leaves few letters to place. An 8-letter word gives more letters to work with, but more ways to put them.
Your numbers for this length
When a game ends, the card shows your numbers for the length you played: Played, Won, Win rate, and a small chart of the tries you needed. Then Play again starts a new word of the same length, and Change length brings you back to the home screen.
Choose the difficulty
Under the length buttons, Letters given sets how many letters start on the grid: 0, 1 or 2. One is the classic rule: the first letter. With two, a second letter is given, never the last one. With zero, you start from an empty row.
