Every day, Motrix has a word of the day. Every player of your language gets the same word on the same date. Your friends can play it too and compare their grids with yours.
A new word at midnight
The word of the day changes at midnight, on your phone's clock. Open it from the Word of the day button at the top of the home screen. The flame next to it shows your current streak.
The length changes every day: 5, 7, 4, 6 and 8 letters, then again. In five days you play every length.
A streak to keep
Each day you find the word adds one to your streak. A day you miss, or a word you do not find, sets it back to zero. The Statistics screen shows your Current streak, your Best streak and your Days played.
Share without spoiling
When the grid is done, Share sends your result as coloured squares: red, yellow and black, one row per try. The word is not in it. The first line gives the day number, the language and your score, for example "Motrix #306 · en · 3/6".
Thirty days to catch up
Previous days opens the words of the day from the last thirty days. Play the ones you missed. They do not count toward your streak.
